The following books can help strengthen your faith, better your understanding of the Bible, and deepen your walk with the Lord. Obviously, make sure you are reading the Bible first and foremost. None of these books is a substitute for the Scriptures. But, assuming you are reading the Bible regularly, I definitely recommend you check out these books:
- The Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer
- Recovering Our Sanity: How the Fear of God Conquers the Fears that Divide Us by Michael Horton
- The Reason For God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism by Timothy Keller
- How (Not) to Read the Bible: Making Sense of the Anti-women, Anti-science, Pro-violence, Pro-slavery and Other Crazy-Sounding Parts of Scripture by Dan Kimball
- Unoffendable: How Just One Change Can Make All of Life Better by Brant Hansen
The above books are not listed in any particular order. And they are not all-inclusive when it comes to the books I love and recommend. There are many more I could list. But I feel these 5 are a good start. 🙂
I did not link them. But you can find them easily on ChristianBook.com, Amazon.com, or BarnesandNoble.com.
I know you will be blessed and encouraged by them.
Happy Reading and God bless you!
