About Me - Pastor Brian Tubbs

Hey Everyone. Welcome to my pastor blog. I’m a husband, father, pastor, blogger, and aspiring author based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. My mission is to glorify God, proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, and encourage people to choose faith, hope, and love in a world that desperately needs those virtues.

I’ve been in full-time ministry for over twenty years and currently serve as the Senior Pastor of Olney Baptist Church in Montgomery County, Maryland. I previously served as the pastor of a wonderful congregation in Clinton County, Ohio. In addition to pastoral ministry, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in three different Christian schools and serving as a part-time administrator at one of them.

Before my call to ministry, I worked with associations and nonprofits in roles that included writing, project management, and public relations.

My experiences have given me a broad perspective on life, faith, and leadership.

FAMILY

Married to Jane Tubbs (since 1992)
Two children (now legal adults – one of whom is married)
We also have a dog (his name is Rex)
