Welcome to my new blog. I hope you’ll find this blog a source of encouragement and insights as you pursue your walk with the Lord.
My name is Brian Tubbs. I’m a husband, father, and the senior pastor of Olney Baptist Church in Montgomery County, Maryland. Most importantly, I’m a child of God — a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This blog is written primarily for those who believe in God and are seeking greater understanding of Him through the Scriptures. In this blog, we will dive into the Bible with insights and commentary, and we will also talk about church history, world history (particularly history during Bible times), and Christian apologetics (i.e., evidence for the Christian faith).
We will also periodically talk about church and ministry life, although most of those subjects will be covered in greater detail in my forthcoming blog on church ministry. Details TBA.
